Ashtanga Yoga Mysore One Month Intensive with Dominic Corigliano
January 16 through February 11 , 2005 (4 weeks)
Sun-Fri 6:00-9:00am
Dominic Corigliano, one of the
foremost ashtanga yoga teachers, is back to Mountain
View after his very popular summer workshop last
June. The 4 week-long workshop will be a series of
Mysore-Style classes, allowing students the benefit
of one to one attention. The length of the workshop
will also allow students to develop a deeper sense
of their own practice.
Make sure to check out the special 2.5 hour workshop
to lay the ground work for the Mysore Intensive on
Friday January 14 (see below).

Winter Solstice 108 Sun Salutations
Tuesday December 21, 7 to 9 am.
Join us to celebrate the longest night of the
year and the beginning of winter. Connie will be
chanting as we go through the salutations.
It does not matter whether you do 8, 58 or 108.
You can chant or just listen to the beautiful sounds
of Sanskrit and breath.

Ashtanga Yoga Workshop: Your Edge within the Primary Series
With Dominic Corigliano
Friday January 14 7:15-9:45pm
This workshop is designed to lay the groundwork for
Dominic's month-long Mysore Intensive workshop at
YiY (see above) and to help beginner students deal
with the challenges of the ashtanga yoga practice
safely.

In Memoriam: Gwendoline Hunt 1930-2004
Gwendoline Hunt died in November 2004 in a
drowning accident in New Zealand. Gwendoline made a
tremendous impression on our yoga community at our
studio Yoga is Youthfulness when she came to teach a
workshop with Lino Miele in November 2001. She was
an inspiration not just because of her age but
because of her skill in teaching. Her way was always
firm and somehow gentle, just like her adjustments.
We had been looking forward to her coming again but
it is not to be. We will always remember her.
